Red, Whites, and Booze (1970)
"Reds, Whites & Blues" is a dramatic short about the dangers of substance abuse, including alcoholism and drug addiction within a family unit. Here, a teen daughter Debbie is troubled by the fact that both her mother and father use drugs (prescription or otherwise) to help with their problems. The film includes parodies of prescription and over-the-counter drug commercials, themes of peer pressure, use of drugs for weight loss, and the consequences of drug use.
