Driving Cattle in the Alps (1903)
In spring, the Swiss herdsman collects his cattle and drives the herds up the mountains to higher pasture. Here is shown a quiet valley, with mountain streams in foreground, surrounded by towering peaks. The cattle are driven over a stone bridge spanning the stream, towards the camera.
