Time. (2026)
On a quiet morning by the sea, 17-year-old Olivia patiently waits for Ayu, her best friend who promised to join her soon. But as the day slowly passes from noon into late afternoon, Ayu never shows up and suddenly stops responding. Olivia’s boredom gradually turns into frustration and resentment. She floods Ayu’s phone with a series of angry messages, convinced that her time and good intentions have been taken for granted. As dusk settles and Olivia finally decides to go home, an unexpected notification appears on her phone. In an instant, all of her anger gives way to deep regret. The birthday gift she had prepared for Ayu slips from her hands as she comes to terms with the heartbreaking truth behind why her best friend never came.
