Benjamin ia a father in court-ordered therapy after claiming he assaulted a teenager who bullied his gay son. During his final session, Dr. Hallstaff slowly breaks through Benjamin's guarded version of events and exposes the deeper truth: Benjamin struck the boy himself, not only to protect his son, but because the incident awakened guilt from his own past as a bully. By the end, Benjamin must face that real protection means honesty, accountability, and allowing his son to stand on his own.
