The Imagery of The Ancestral Land (2024)
Eka Wati, a young indigenous Dayak Pitap woman, survives on the wealth of her ancestral land in Pitap Village, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan. As a woman, Eka protects her customary land in her own way. Anang, a young Dayak Pitap man, fights for his ancestral land against extractive industries that, to this day, still hold permits from the government. This film is a simple statement from the two perspectives of these indigenous Dayak Pitap youth regarding their inherited land.
