Return of the General (1962)
In 1962, commemorating the centennial of the famous Andrew's Raid of the Civil War. the Louisville and Nashville Railroad refurbished the famous little locomotive, The General, and reenacted the legendary event, The Great Locomotive Chase, Following this, The General was sent on a barnstorming tour through L. & N. territory, and into other parts of the country as well. There are many shots of the locomotive in action -close-ups of the drivers and other exterior details.
