The Vanishing of Richey Manic (1996)
In the wake of Manic Street Preachers guitarist and lyricist Richey Edwards's mysterious disappearance in 1995, this documentary traces his life, troubled relationship with fame and the circumstances surrounding his vanishing. Featuring interviews with Boy George, Shaun Ryder, Deborah Curtis and Steve Lamacq, the film examines both the cult that developed around Edwards and the darker consequences of celebrity.
