Zenzo is an unremarkable man whose salary keeps shrinking and who is constantly belittled by his wife, Mitsuko. One day, at a ramen shop run by a friend, he meets Masami, who is there on assignment. Intrigued by Zenzo, Masami proposes doing an in-depth feature on him. From that point on, his everyday life proves to be a source of constant novelty for her...
