A Turtle Between Two Coasts (2026)
A Turtle Between Two Coasts is a UTRGV mini-documentary exploring the Kemp’s ridley sea turtle—its history, endangered status, conservation, and connection to South Texas. Featuring UTRGV alumni, faculty, and student researchers, the film highlights both the species’ long road to recovery and the unique opportunity students have to study marine life and conservation so close to the Gulf Coast.
