Hanba de kanjiru onna no sei (2000)
Shinji has been wandering from place to place with Reika, performing a "black-and-white show." One day, Reika disappears with their money. Left penniless, Shinji seeks out his former lover, Hanae, who is working as a cook at a remote mountain construction site. She urges him to turn over a new leaf and lead an honest life. Shinji begins working at the site but soon gives up and vanishes. In a twist of fate, Reika arrives at the camp just as he leaves; she had come seeking Hanae, hoping to apologize to Shinji. She begins working as a laborer herself and soon becomes the darling of the worksite...
