Başyapıt (Masterpiece) tells the tragicomic story of Nejat, a man who is convinced that Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony is actually a composition of his own. The short film follows the strange and melancholy consequences of this delusion, exploring the blurred line between artistic genius, obsession, and madness.
