A documentary about the construction of the Dutch natural gas pipeline network following the discovery of the Groningen gas field. Workers and specialists from the Netherlands and abroad prepare and lay thousands of pipes across the country, transforming the landscape as they build the infrastructure that would bring natural gas to Dutch homes and industry.
