MITANI – The Mariage of Sushi (2026)
Yasuhiko Mitani runs a secretive six-seat Tokyo sushi sanctuary with a four-year waitlist, dedicated entirely to artistic purity. His philosophy, "The Mariage", pairs exquisite sushi with rare wine and sake on a molecular level. Driven by deep gratitude after surviving a severe heart condition, Mitani treats every ingredient with profound reverence. This documentary follows his ultimate challenge of bringing his unparalleled culinary art to a global stage at the Lotte New York Palace.
