Kiriko's Baton: YELL (2026)
Years after graduating from high school, music journalist Shō Kitamura is assigned to write about his former teacher, Kiriko Harada, a legendary choir instructor known for inspiring troubled students with her remarkable conducting and unwavering belief in them. But Kiriko has retired and mysteriously disappeared. As Shō reunites with former choir classmates and retraces their memories of their beloved teacher, he begins to uncover the story behind her disappearance and the profound impact she had on their lives. Inspired by Ikimonogakari’s hit song “YELL,” Echoes of Kiriko is a heartfelt drama about music, friendship, hope, and the enduring bond between a teacher and her students.
