Next Up, Lin Sun is a documentary portrait of Los Angeles comedian Lin Sun, the first Cambodian American woman to be featured on a stand-up special on a major U.S. network. Born in a Thai refugee camp after her parents fled the Khmer Rouge, Lin descends from a family whose legacy in Cambodia’s film industry was nearly erased by genocide. Through fearless, deeply personal comedy, she reclaims that legacy while forging her own.
