Carlton Taylor Has Major Problems (2026)
In the days before Christmas, Carlton Taylor has his life in perfect order. A meticulous textbook editor devoted to facts, structure, and the sanctity of the printed word, he has spent decades doing one thing well. Then a young CEO arrives to drag his longtime publishing house into an AI-driven future, and Carlton discovers exactly how disposable a lifetime of expertise can be.
