Kan Kardeşi - Those in Between (2026)
A few meters from the UN buffer zone, Ayşegül and her best friend Adnan grow up in Lefkoşa, the Turkish-controlled half of Cyprus’s divided capital. From the rooftops, they gaze at the European south – close enough to touch and yet out of reach: as the daughter of Turkish settlers, Ayşegül cannot cross the border. She works at a supermarket and dreams of a life in France, while Adnan aspires to a career as a professional badminton player. But family expectations, Ayşegül’s engagement to her jealous ex-boyfriend, and Adnan’s military service test their friendship and plans for the future.
