Beautiful escape (2020)
In an agency, a middle-class couple in their thirties is discussing with a woman about selling one of their assets, which they regret acquiring. This asset happens to be their own daughter. They need to discuss the terms of the sale, especially the price they could get for her. It becomes a dialogue between the agency owner and the parents, covering age, appearance, athletic and cognitive abilities, and eveything else needed to provide the best estimate. Different options are presented to them. With great joy, the parents finally make a decision, entrusting their offspring to the care of the agency. But don’t worry : their daughter is already in the shop window, laughing and surrounded by toys and other children.
