ZAKHEIM (2026)
The story of Polish immigrant Bernard Zakheim; from his early life in Poland, his immigration to San Francisco, and how he became involved in the Federal Arts Program of the New Deal era. Rusk-based filmmaker Isaac Belota uncovers the sprawling story through the discovery of two Zakheim murals in East Texas; one in Rusk's Post Office, and one in Mineola's Post Office.
