Shabnum, the dew (2011)
A young filmmaker in Hong Kong searches high and low to find the right actors for his film about the South Asian community, only to be met with disappointment every step of the way. Before he loses all hope, he is given a name of a possible actress that will give him the perfect ending to his film: Shabnum. Filled with anticipation, the filmmaker frantically looks for the best way to capture his star actress. A comedy about cultural barriers, persistence, and anticipation, Shabnum is all about the journey rather than the destination.
