El deseo (1948)
Two sisters fall in love with the same man while one of them suffers from an incurable illness. Based on Hermann Sudermann's novel Der Wunsch, the film explores love, jealousy, sacrifice, and the moral conflicts that arise when desire threatens family bonds.
