Layla, Daughter of the Rich (1946)
Laila is a wealthy girl, with a father who has no will and a domineering wife. Her stepmother tries to marry her to his son so that the wealth does not go outside them. Laila decides to flee, and causes an accident with her car. Everyone thinks she is dead, but she ends up in a village, and a journalist sympathizes with her.
