The Eyes of Jade (1919)
Moi fa Loi, the daughter of the venerable Jorimato, is the loveliest and most gifted girl in Yokohama. The Norwegian Kay Nordhong, visiting Japan, sees her in the garden and falls in love with her, but she runs away from him. She is invited to a reception at the Norwegian embassy, and the two see each other again.
