The Second Shot (1943)
Bohemian landed gentry around 1850: A young baron challenges his reckless rival to a duel, but after the latter misses, he reserves his own shot, intending to use it only when his opponent has come to value his life. The rival undergoes a transformation and finds happiness in a serious love affair. At the pleas of this woman, the vengeful baron finally relents.
