Sokaklardan Bir Kız (1974)

The film tells the story of a young girl struggling to survive in a depraved life. Having grown up alone because her father is in prison, Nuran has taken refuge in her uncle's house. Here, she is forced to endure the torment of her cruel aunt. Her only friend is Ihsan, a kind-hearted pickpocket she knows from the neighbourhood. After her father's death, Nuran is forced to move in with her mother Leyla, who works in bars. When İhsan is caught and sent to prison, she finds herself completely alone in a life that is not her own.
