Tobias Buntschuh - Das Drama eines Einsamen

Tobias Buntschuh - Das Drama eines Einsamen (1921)

Drama

Tobias Buntschuh is a brilliant inventor who also owns a large steel and ironworks. Naturally reclusive, he has become something of an eccentric due to his physical disability, choosing to withdraw entirely into his magnificent castle. Yet, despite facing numerous rejections, he has never turned into a misanthrope—quite the contrary: Tobias Buntschuh is celebrated for his social conscience and his willingness to help others. Then, one day, events take a turbulent turn: a trust formed by several competing firms launches an assault on his life’s work and incites his own workforce against him. At the same time, after a long absence, a woman re-enters Tobias’s life—the beautiful circus dancer Radiana.
