Gabriel, a young male gigolo, works on Skid Row to send money to his mother back home. He forms the most unlikely friendship with Martha, an elderly woman and renowned author. “Peridot” breaks down the barriers and labels in a deeply ageist culture – a story that exemplifies that love and friendship know no age, race, gender, or label.
