Two Generations (1960)
Early 1960s, Xinjiang, construction of a railway. Yin Meng is sent to Xinjiang for party work. Ying Meng has the most painful memories associated with this city—twenty years ago, the Kuomintang shot her husband here, she was imprisoned here, and her son was taken away from her here. The film tells the story of how Xinjiang has changed and how Ying Meng found her son.
