In 2021, right out of the silence of Covid, Allison Joy dream chased hard and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue feature and documentary work. She immediately jumped on Anthem, a music and travel documentary produced by Ryan Coogler with Proximity Media and director Peter Nicks, followed quickly by co-producing A24's Stephen Curry: Underrated, which premiered at Sundance in 2023. Her recent credits include co-producing June, a documentary on June Carter Cash, nominated for a Grammy in 2024 and streaming on Paramount+, as well as the Duplass Brother's Magic Hour, which debuted at SXSW and is slated for a theatrical release in spring 2026.
