Born in Santiago, Chile, he grew up in Valdivia, where he studied piano and music theory. He later returned to Santiago, where he began his formal film studies at the Universidad del Desarrollo's film school. He has directed three short films, including Perdida, which was selected at national and international festivals such as the Sydney Indie Short Film Festival, Rotterdam Independent Film Festival, and the Oberá International Film Festival (all in 2021), where it received the award for Best International Short Film.
