Inês is a Portuguese nonfiction filmmaker, editor, researcher-educator, and is currently a Ph. D. student in Film and Digital Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is originally from Lisbon, Portugal, but is currently based in San Francisco. Her research and critical-creatiev explores individualized and societal dimensions of trauma through hybrid, speculative, and archival forms of nonfiction cinema.
