Paola Traverso is an Italian film editor and director. After graduating in Literature with a focus on performing arts, she worked in theatre as an assistant director and actress before moving into film editing in 2000. Her credits include Adisa o la storia dei mille anni (2004), Sàmara*(2009), Ombre di luce (2010), La voce di Rosa (2011) and Bosnia Express (2022). In 2011, she co-directed the documentary Ribelli! with Massimo D'Orzi. More recently, she co-directed Stories of Women, Men, and Communities with Vincenzo Franceschini. Traverso has also worked as a producer and has been involved with the production company "Il Gigante".
