Born in 1976 to a Gambian father, a university English teacher, and a French mother of Polish Jewish origin, working as a bookseller, Rachel Khan is an actress. A high-level athlete, she was French champion in the 60 meters indoor, and vice-champion of France in the 80 meters. In 1993, she joined the French team and in 1995 won the French 4x100-meter championship. Holder of a DESS in human rights, humanitarian law in Assas and a DEA in international law in Paris II, in 2009 she joined Jean-Paul Huchon's office as a cultural advisor.
