David Kimbangi is a British film executive at Film4. He joined Film4 in August 2018 as a development and production executive, having previously worked at the British Film Institute (BFI) in roles including development coordinator and box office assistant at BFI Southbank. His executive producing credits include work on the feature The Man in My Basement (2025) and other short and narrative film projects across the UK independent film landscape. Kimbangi is also a member of the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) Nomination Committee and is a senior commissioning executive at Film4.
