Biography:

Mike Krumlauf is an Award Winning American Filmmaker from Naperville, Illinois. He has been a working professional in the entertainment industry since the age of 9 where he began freelancing for North Central College's Football team as their videographer & editor. Since his young start, he has made thousands of short video art project which he has been sharing on the internet since 2005. In his early 20s he attended (the now defunct) Tribeca Flashpoint College film school, graduating at almost the top of his class with a focus on Cinematography. Mike's first feature length project "A Place to Call His Own" is a documentary focusing on his late friend Matthew J McMahon and the impact Matt left on his community. The film played at multiple film festivals, winning multiple awards. Shortly after the documentary, Mike was able to work along side Paramount Pictures as A videographer for the 25th Anniversary celebration of John Hughes' hit film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. He has also worked on various television pilots "Coppa Freestyle" & "Miracle Appliance" which pitched to FOX Sports and Bravo TV. Mike currently lives in the Denver, Colorado area with his husband & partner of over 13 years Nicholas.
