Ganesh Mogaveerapete is an Indian actor from Kokkarne, Udupi, Karnataka, known for his natural performances in Kannada independent cinema. He gained recognition for portraying Manja in the critically acclaimed feature film Koli Taal (2021), written and directed by Abhilash Shetty. The film premiered at international film festivals before its theatrical release and received praise for its authentic portrayal of rural Karnataka and heartfelt storytelling. Born and raised in Kokkarne, Ganesh brings the culture, traditions, and dialect of coastal Karnataka to his performances. He reprised the role of Manja in Sunday Special (2024), continuing his collaboration with filmmaker Abhilash Shetty.
