Biography:

Manas Shashidharan Jacob is a Mumbai-based filmmaker drawn to everyday stories that uncover deeper truths. A Political Science graduate from St. Xavier’s College (2013), his real education has come from closely observing people and the world around him. His work blends realism with a fresh perspective, focusing on emotion, character, and the small moments that carry weight. Through his company, Triace Entertainment, he creates cinematic promos, behind-the-scenes films, and branded content for feature films and OTT platforms. His short Seher won the 2018 Indian National Award for Best Cinematography (Non-Feature). The Audition, his debut independent feature, explores an actor’s struggle with rejection, self-worth, and the need to be seen.
