Arjun Nair

Biography:

Arjun Nair is a Mumbai-based music director, producer, voice artist, and soundscape architect whose work lives at the intersection of cinema, emotion, and modern Indian identity. Blending atmospheric storytelling with contemporary global production, he creates music that feels immersive, human, and deeply visual — whether for film, streaming, live performance, or independent records. As the producer and one of the key creative forces behind Voctronica, Arjun helped redefine contemporary Indian vocal music through intricate arrangements and cinematic sound worlds built entirely from the human voice — long before vocal-driven production became part of the mainstream conversation. His work has crossed paths with artists and creators including Niladri Kumar, Amit Trivedi, and Imtiaz Ali, alongside projects associated with Netflix, SonyLIV, BMW, and Samsung. His contributions to Laila Majnu became part of a soundtrack that earned Filmfare recognition, while his score for Dushu premiered internationally at the Ischia Global Film Festival in Italy. Whether composing for screen, producing intimate acoustic records, or building entire sonic worlds from texture and voice alone, Arjun approaches music as emotional architecture — crafting soundscapes that linger long after the final frame.
