Fátima Tejada is a communications student and young filmmaker. She has primarily directed documentary projects, most notably Parafina (2021)—co-directed with Fabiana Custodio—an LGBTQ+ short film centered on the testimony of a young gay man. She also created the experimental short film Barbarie en la Calle, in which she addresses the street harassment she has experienced since childhood by staging scenes using dolls in stop-motion animation. Finally, she directed the short film Corrientes (2022) alongside Jean Alvarado, a personal reflection on the process of filmmaking from the perspectives of both directors.
