Biography:

Romelia Álvarez holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master's degree in Human Development from ITESO. She serves as the Director of La Brújula, Networking for the Audiovisual and Film Industry of Mexico, Director of CANACINE, the National Chamber of the Audiovisual Industry, Jalisco Delegation, and Rector of CEC, Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos. Additionally, she has been a lecturer at various universities for thirty years: Ibero CDMX, Tec de Monterrey, ITESO, UP, and CEC.
