Nita Blum-Reddick

Biography:

Nita Blum-Reddick is a documentary filmmaker with more than two decades of experience in film, television, and digital media. Her work centers on the human experience of climate impact and community stories that uplift overlooked voices. Her recent film, A New Inferno, which she co-directed and produced, premiered at SXSW and was released as a New York Times Op-Doc. Nita is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at ASU’s Sidney Poitier Film School, where she teaches production courses and has developed the course Documentary for Social Impact, which connects student filmmakers with local nonprofit organizations. She holds a master's in Documentary Studies from Northern Arizona University.
