Vlad Gradescu is a Moldovan-born writer and director based in New York City. Blending his Eastern European roots with American indie sensibilities, he founded Casa Mare Filmworks to tell stories about immigration, community, and identity. His latest film, HAI DAVAI premiered at the 2026 Palm Springs International Shortfest.
