Daniel A. Mitchell is a Scottish filmmaker, writer, director, editor and cinematographer known for his work across a range of genres and styles. His filmmaking is characterised by a strong visual identity, distinctive characters and a fascination with the darker and more unconventional sides of human nature. Influenced by filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Sergio Leone and Edgar Wright, Mitchell's work often blends drama, dark comedy and genre filmmaking with an emphasis on atmosphere, character and cinematic storytelling. He has written and directed numerous short films and continues to develop a growing body of work as an independent filmmaker.
