Adam Austin Smith is a filmmaker from the "Bootheel" of Missouri. He writes and directs narrative films that blend southern gothic with sharp satire. A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, he now calls Milwaukee home, where he operates as Wishing Whales LLC. He is the founder of Voices Off Paper, a live screenplay table read workshop hosted as part of the Wisconsin Production Collective.
