Biography:

Robert Dölle (born October 29, 1971, in Frankfurt am Main) is a German actor. Dölle's parents had fled from Prague to Germany in 1968 following the invasion of Czechoslovakia by Soviet troops. After studying American Studies, Dölle completed his acting training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 1993 to 1996. Subsequently, he was engaged by the Münchner Kammerspiele, where he worked with directors such as Dieter Dorn and Peter Zadek. From 1999 to 2001, he was a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Frankfurt, working primarily with Jens-Daniel Herzog and Amelie Niermeyer. Beginning in 2001, he returned to the Münchner Kammerspiele, where his collaborators included Karin Beier, Johan Simons, and Jossi Wieler. In 2006, Dölle played the role of Siegfried in Dieter Wedel’s production *Siegfrieds Frauen* at the Worms Nibelungen Festival. From 2009 to 2019, he was an ensemble member at Schauspiel Köln, working with directors such as Karin Beier, Alvis Hermanis, Nicolas Stemann, Herbert Fritsch, Schorsch Kamerun, Stefan Bachmann, and Rafael Sanchez. Since the 2019/20 season, Dölle has been a member of the ensemble at the Bavarian State Theatre (Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel) in Munich. In 2021, he received the *AZ-Stern des Jahres* (AZ Star of the Year) award for his role in *Finsternis*. In 2023, he was awarded the Kurt Meisel Prize for outstanding artistic achievement. In 2024, he received the honorary title of "Bavarian State Actor" (*Bayerischer Staatsschauspieler*). Since 2002, Dölle has also worked in film and television. His credits include *Schiller*, *Die weiße Massai*, *Mitte 30*, *Hotel Lux*, *Im Netz*, and *TKKG – Das Geheimnis um die rätselhafte Mind-Machine*. Since 2015, he has played Chief Inspector Ralf Eisner in the television series *Die Füchsin*. Furthermore, Dölle works as a voice-over artist for radio and television. Since 2014, he has collaborated regularly with radio drama director Walter Adler. Since 2021, he has voiced the character Capone "Gang" Bege in the anime series *One Piece*.
