Brownie the Wonder Dog was a short-lived celebrity movie dog (Bull Terrier-Fox Terrier) of the 1920s. He appeared in several silent comedies produced by the Century Film Company. After his unexpected death in 1923, he was the subject of a French comic strip, "Les Aventures du Chien Brownie" which ran in France between 1926-1927.
