Bourg-la-Reine, Hauts-de-Seine, France:
Hugo Sagot is a French composer and filmmaker who developed an interest in music from a young age. He began learning the trumpet out of curiosity about the instrument and later received his first synthesizer, a Korg KingKORG, at the age of 14, marking the beginning of his journey as a composer. In 2020, he began working in cinema by composing the score for the short film « L'Auto-portrait d'Endrick », by Azif Mzé. He later composed the music for the feature film « REPORT », by Joseph Rusalen, before working on the short film « LUDWIG : Un prof de CP incompréhensible » , whose music was well received during its theatrical screening. Alongside his work as a composer, Hugo has explored filmmaking and developed a personal artistic approach combining music, nature and his practice of tree climbing. He continues to work on several film projects, including « Primal », by Mila Miller, on which he serves as composer and also appears as a performer. He also composed the original music for the short film « No One in the Woods ».
