Biography:

Joseph Banks (born December 30th 2006) is an emerging Independent filmmaker and actor based in New York City. He's best known for his media brand 'BanksTV' and artist magazine 'WorldEnder,' which he founded alongside music artist/DJ Elle Akosua. His work relies on absurd imagery and concepts expressed through a comedic lens. He hit the ground running with his 2025 debut short Grown, and followed it up during his freshman year at the School of Visual Arts with What Are Your Strengths? which screened at the East Village New York Film Festival. His momentum kept building with Sunny & Grub: Get To That Bag (2026), a first-year project that was handpicked by faculty to screen live on the big screen at the annual SVA Student Selects Showcase.
