Biography:

Tamara Sánchez was born in Trujillo, Peru, in 2002. She began her training as an audiovisual filmmaker at the Universidad Privada del Norte in 2020. In 2022, she made her debut feature film, "Cartas visuales y apreciaciones desde lo íntimo," a compilation of visual letters from various communicators in the region. Beginning in 2023, she became involved in cultural management, collaborating with local festivals. She has produced a series of films for the production company Together, including "Jack Lee" (2022), "El fotoperiodista" (2022), and "El rostro inconcebible" (2023), participating in some of them as a script assistant. In 2023, she co-directed the web series "Fuera de la caja" and in 2024, "Cuestión de confianza," alongside Marco Chavarría. That same year, he directed and produced "Dimes y diretes," a fantasy satire about the effect of gossip on society. She continues to be actively involved in regional cinema, collaborating on documentary films and participating in the organization of the Discovered Film Festival and the Trujillo Film Festival.
