Biography:

María Zabala is a Venezuelan filmmaker. She completed a Diploma in Filmmaking at CIECA Media School in Venezuela, where she developed a strong foundation in production and visual storytelling. She gained industry experience through a production assistant internship on the feature film The Shadow of El Catire (2023). Currently, she is based in Melbourne and plans to continue producing and directing projects.
